The period during which candidates can file to run for office in 2010 runs from March 9 until March 19. 

State Offices up for Election in 2010

Below is a list of state offices up for election in 2010, as well as information on each office, the current office holder, and candidate requirements.  A summary of state offices, qualifications, filing dates, filing fees, and terms can be found at the Lt. Governor’s website here

State Board of Education

Districts 2, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 14, 15up for election in 2010
